The Reviews/Web Services and Sites Section:
This section is for reviews of Web-based services and web sites.
Here are some easy steps to create your own review. Please note the examples below are from the “books” review section. Make sure you put your topic in the right subcategory.
1) Look at the URL for this page
http://www.opensourceentrepreneur.com/doku.php/reviews:books:start
The key parts are at the end: reviews:books:start
Reviews: is what a Wiki calls a namespace. I think of it as a category. books: is a subcategory of Reviews start is the page name i.e. this page is called “Start”
2) To add your own topic, browse to the right category and look for this “Start” page. If your topic doesn’t fit in one of the existing categories (it should) see step (3) below.
Then look at the web address in your browser, replace “start” with the name of your page and hit enter. Try and pick something descriptive e.g. “Seven Habits of Highly Successful People”. Also, it’s best to avoid spaces in your name, so use underscores “_” or make it all one word with capitals: Seven_Habits_of_Highly_Successful_People SevenHabitsofHighlySuccessfulPeople.
Using the previous example, the web address would be:
You will see a message saying that the topic does not exist. Click the “Create this Page” button and away you go.
3) If your subject category doesn’t exist, you can create it the same way. You just change //Reviews:// in the web address to whatever category you need. Please try to put your topic in an existing category so things don’t get hard to find!
You can also create sub-categories. Just add a “:” and the subcategory e.g. rants_and_raves:GettingStarted:myNewTopic would create a sub-category of Getting Started and a new document called myNewTopic.
